Rachel Yarnall, Pre-licensed clinician
Rachel Yarnall is a clinical intern currently earning her Master’s in Counseling at Arizona State University, under the supervision of Dr. Marlena Gonzales-Gabaldon, LPC. With a background in behavioral therapy, Rachel brings both structure and empathy into her work with clients, offering a thoughtful and grounded approach to growth and healing.
Her clinical interests include helping clients navigate anxiety, relationship challenges, life transitions, and self-esteem concerns. Rachel believes that therapy should be a space where people feel safe enough to explore the hard things while also building confidence in their strengths. She works to create an environment that’s supportive, collaborative, and adaptable to each client’s unique story. Rachel’s style is compassionate, curious, and rooted in mutual respect. She values transparency, trust, and making therapy feel like a partnership.
Drawing from a range of approaches, Rachel tailors her work to fit what feels most helpful and accessible to each client. She is passionate about honoring the whole person- including their culture, identity, and values- and believes healing looks different for everyone.
Originally from Scottsdale, Arizona, Rachel still lives in her hometown and appreciates the blend of desert beauty and community it offers. Outside of counseling, she enjoys arts and crafts, being outdoors, and spending time with her friends and family. She also finds joy in the small moments-
whether that is sharing a laugh with friends, listening to a favorite playlist, or creating something with her hands.
Rachel is honored to support clients in navigating whatever stage of life or healing they’re in.
