Seeking therapy is a vulnerable experience and there is strength in vulnerability. It is important for me to help you discover what your strengths, values, and goals are. Through a collaborative approach and working together we will build a treatment plan that is tailored to you. My purpose is to create a therapeutic space that is warm, nonjudgmental, and culturally sensitive where I am devoted to empower my clients. I strive to have a gentle hand in encouraging people to see their value, sort out challenges and accomplish their goals.
I use an integrative approach including techniques from somatic, mindfulness based, interpersonal, emotion-based and narrative therapy. Every person is unique, so my approach will be customized to best serve you. I work to take a holistic approach and consider the body and mind connection, emotions, interpersonal relationships, identities, culture, and everyday needs. Together we will explore how these intersecting areas are impacting and influencing your life, goals, and symptoms.
I grew up in the Pacific Northwest and have a love for the mountains, hiking, and nature. In my spare time I find joy with spending time with my cats, doing yoga, and cooking vegan meals.
I have a heart for finding the beauty and peace in life and a passion to create a fulfilling joyful experience for myself and everyone around me.
